Last year some weeks before Christmas highly anticipated Assassin's Creed 2 arrive at my home and unfortunately I was only able to finish it today. By surprise I noticed today I also received a Bonus Code to unlock additional content. Joy :-)
Last Friday I got a nice package in my mailbox. After endless delays this time "Little Big Planet" for the Playstation 3 finally arrived at my home. This game really kicks ass and does not underperform. It is even more fun playing with others in co-op mode together. Those of you who like to play something else than First Person Shooters all the time will not regret the buy. Oh and if you like the song from the first promo videos and didn't know the song title, here it is: "Get it together" by "The Go! Team".
If you like last year's christmas gift Assassin's Creed and want to listen to some of the score themes you can download a small compilation directly from Ubisoft. All you have to do is go to assassinscreed.us.ubi.com/soundtrack/index.php and type in the password 'Target'. Et Voila, now you can download 6 tracks of Jesper Kyd's brilliant soundtrack.
During my time in China I often saw billboards advertising the game 'Patrix' and one year later I finally tried it. It is a free game but unfortunately it requires a Chinese ID to register and ultimatively play :-( Once you have done so, you will realize pretty soon that the simple deathmatch shooter is really innovative and fun. As far as I know, 'Patrix' won an innovation award last year at the chinajoy gaming fair and I have to admit it really deserved that. I already posted a video last year, but these who don't remember, here we go again:
Reminds me a bit on Team Fortress 2... Oh yeah, and here's the link to the website: patrix the game (Beware, Chinese websites look a bit different to western ones...)
It's been floating through the P2P networks before as beta version: Sony's 2.0 firmware for their cell processor flagship. So what's in store for us in this latest firmware update? In a nutshell, Remote Start, Information Board, and other feature upgrades.
Ok, what's new:
Custom themes - You can now customize the XMB icons or background design
Playlists - You can now create playlists to organize photo and music content.
Information board - PlayStation related news can be displayed on the XMB screen.
Remote start - You can now turn on a PS3 in standby mode with your PSP via the Internet and access all hard drive stored files.
If you wanna download it now, just click here or simply start up your PS3 and get the Update automatically.
This morning I got the info that there is a cool online video game out in China called "Patrix". Looks very interresting but maybe you should make your own opinion.
