Famous PSP Networking Internal Error 80110404

OK, this time no long foreplay.
You got this error or still have it when you try to establish a network connection with your shiny Playstation Portable? Here comes the solution:
Simply restore the PSP's default settings. Easy as it sounds you only have to access system settings in your XMB (Cross Media Bar). After confirmation your PSP will restart and you have to input your name and your timezone again but at least you can now set up a network connection again :)

While searching in the internet, I found out that today the new version of Dark Alex's famous custom firmware for the Playstation Portable has been released.
The latest official Sony PSP firmware 3.80 has now been hacked and I made a rar archive containing all the needed files.

AS ALWAYS: ONLY USE IT ON YOUR OWN RISK!!!

While reading Sony's website for the Consumer Electrics Show in Las Vegas I noticed a little
hint that there will be a Skype client for the PSP soon. So I'm sharing this with you people ^^

1.50 kernel support for 3.72 HX-1 PSP

So, you just installed the brandnew 3.72 firmware HX-1 on your shining Playstation Portable but suddenly wonder why your old applications like emulators don't work any longer.
This problem is caused by the use of the 3.72 kernel instead of 1.50 kernel from older custom firmware releases.
But somebody has found a method to solve this.
You can patch your PSP's flash0 and here you find the little tutorial :)

  1. If you haven't done so before, install the 3.72 HX-1 custom firmware with this nifty little Easyinstaller. [3.72 Custom Firmware Easyinstaller]
  2. Download the 1.50 kernel patch. [1.50 Kernel Patch]
  3. Toggle usb flash0 in recovery.
  4. copy the file reboot150.prx from your 1.50 kernel rar archive file (located in /kd) to /kd on your 3.72 HX firmware.
  5. copy the whole directory /km from your 1.50 kernel rar archive file to the flash0 of your 3.72 HX
  6. DONE ^^
Well have fun (again) with your 1.50 kernel enabled PSP.

Oh happy day :-)

Well because Koteshi was such a kind person, Santa brought him nice little presents. Like the new Canon EOS 400D and the new Nintendo Wii.
Reviews will follow. By the way: the new GPS device for my PSP and a new custom firmware (3.02 OE-B) arrived too so there will be a report soon.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Have you ever tried so hard that the solution for your problem semmed so obvious and you didn't got it?
My case was the the camPRX flasher tool. That's why I created a small tutorial so all the guys out there won't have the same problems.

Here you'll get my tutorial and if you need further help, contact me via ICQ (#325-507-008) or MSN (koteshi@web.de).

Have fun :-)

***UPDATE***

Koteshi's little tutorial for running Chotto Shot WITH cam on a PSP with 2.71-SE B

With the camPRX application you are able to flash the usbcam.prx and the usbmic.prx
to your custom 2.71 SE firmware and run the PSP camera (Chotto Shot) without updating to 2.80.

Files needed:
- chotto-shot.iso.cso
- usbcam Superscription Flash v0.2
- the 2.80 PRX files (usbcam.prx , usbmic.prx)

Place the included files as follows:
ms0:/usbcam.prx
ms0:/usbmic.prx
ms0:/PSP/GAME150/271SE-UC/EBOOT.PSP
ms0:/ISO/chotto-shot.iso.cso

- Start "usbcam Superscription v0.2"
- Select the the option * Copy usbmicPRX from ms:/usbmic.prx" and press X
- After that select * Copy usbcamPRX from ms0:/usbcam.prx" and press X
- If you did everything right there will a text appear telling you the files were
copied successfully
- press start to exit
- start the chotto shot iso by selecting it like you did with the flasher tool in the XMB menu
if you get the following errors:
-> 80020321 - make sure you have an UMD inserted. Don't know if Chotto Shot is NOUMD compatible and was too lazy to test it ;)
-> 80110306 - you're savegame is corupted. Make a new one ;)
- The cam's red light should be blinking for a short time when you start this iso
- After lots of Japanese Katakana, Hiragana and Kanjis you should be able to run the cam now
- Have fun :o)

I hope you guys will get this to work. If someone wants to contact me cause you don't found the needed files so far, leave a comment and I will contact you.

I surrender

Sony just released the new 3.0 firmware for the PSP and I'm not longer trying to get the Chotto Shot run on 1.50...

Yeah, I surrender. But fortunately I don't own only one PSP. So I will upgrade my white TA-082 to 3.0 and hope to enjoy the nice new features.
If anyone gets the cam to work on DevHook or 1.50 firmware feel free to make a comment... :-(
